The world's art scene comes to the UAE

November brings an exceptional concentration of international art and design fairs.

Frieze Abu Dhabi (19–22 November) makes its debut at Manarat Al Saadiyat, bringing together 89 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions.

NOMAD Abu Dhabi (18–22 November) transforms the former Abu Dhabi Airport Terminal 1 into a destination for contemporary art and collectible design.

Meanwhile, World Art Dubai (19–22 November) welcomes galleries and independent artists to Dubai World Trade Centre, while Downtown Design (4–8 November) showcases international design brands and creative talent during Dubai Design Week.

Art takes over the cities

Beyond the fairs, November is packed with major cultural events.

Alserkal Art Week (15–22 November) brings new exhibitions, artist talks and special programmes to Dubai's contemporary art district.

ISEA2026 Dubai (6–15 November) presents over 100 electronic artworks, from immersive installations to interactive digital experiences across the city.

In Abu Dhabi, Art Here: Confluences opens at Louvre Abu Dhabi, while the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial transforms public spaces into an open-air exhibition.

And in Sharjah, the Architecture Triennial explores new ways of imagining our built environment.

Beyond contemporary art

The cultural season extends to cinema, music, literature and heritage.

From Sharjah Film Platform and the Sharjah International Book Fair to performances by Hans Zimmer, Benjamin Clementine, Hiba Tawaji and Ibrahim Maalouf, there's something for every cultural curiosity.
