Alserkal Art Week 2026

One of the key moments of Dubai’s autumn art season, Alserkal Art Week turns the entire Avenue into a cultural destination for a week. Under the theme Smouldering, this edition looks at what continues to burn beneath the surface: memory, resistance, transformation and the creative energy that survives periods of political and social upheaval.

What makes the week particularly worth following is the scale of the programme and the way it brings galleries, institutions, artists, cinema and public conversations together in one place. Rather than visiting Alserkal for a single exhibition, this is the moment to experience the district as a whole and discover many of the season’s most important new shows at once.
