teamLab Phenomena

More than a digital art museum, teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi is conceived as a constantly changing environment where art, science, technology and architecture merge. Spanning 17,000 sqm in Saadiyat Cultural District, the experience is built around teamLab’s concept of “Environmental Phenomena”: the artworks do not exist as fixed objects, but emerge through light, water, air, sound and the movement of visitors, meaning the experience continuously evolves.

The architecture is part of the work itself. Designed by MZ Architects with teamLab Architects, the building’s organic exterior follows the volumes created for the installations inside, blurring the boundary between artwork, space and visitor. It makes teamLab one of the most immersive and experimental cultural experiences in Abu Dhabi.
