Fragments of Memories

Fragments of Memories presents selected earlier works alongside a new body of paintings by Iraqi artist Saad Twaij. Drawing on memories of Baghdad and his experiences across Iraq, Jordan, Oman and Turkey, the exhibition explores places, cultural heritage and changing urban landscapes. Moving between more figurative works and recent abstract compositions, Twaij builds imagined cities shaped by architecture, memory and the passage of time.
