About this Exhibition
The Field of Dreams presents two new series by Palestinian artist Bashar Khalaf, The Junk Garden and The Protective Shield. Through repeated images of steel, barriers and urban infrastructure, the exhibition examines how materials associated with construction and protection can also become symbols of control, restriction and surveillance.
